Description
DSPS-Prominent can be used in an occipital-only configuration with surface guidance, leaving the face uncovered. This approach combines individualized posterior support with the clinic’s image-guidance and motion-monitoring workflow.
Published Clinical Evidence¹
Prospective Clinical Study: 26 head and neck patients treated using an individual dorsal shell with SGRT¹
- 1.1 mm: CTV-PTV margin for intrafraction motion in all directions.*
- 3.5%: Of fractions required treatment interruption for repositioning when intrafraction motion exceeded the study thresholds.
- 720: Treatment fractions clinically evaluated using the DSPS-Prominent® posterior shell with SGRT.
*Intrafraction component only; the study reported a total CTV-PTV margin of 3 mm using its imaging and monitoring workflow.
Why Maskless?
>20% of head and neck radiotherapy patients may experience anxiety related to immobilization masks.²
Key Benefits
Patient-Friendly Setup
Eliminates facial/top masks, reducing anxiety and improving compliance
Real-Time Monitoring
SGRT enables continuous surface monitoring and repositioning when thresholds are exceeded
Reproducible Positioning
Clinically demonstrated positioning accuracy with SGRT and an individualized posterior shell.¹
