MacroMedics® S-Type baseplates are ergonomically shaped for patient comfort. They are indexed on the couchtop with 2 CouchStrips to ensure a reproducible positioning.

MacroMedics S-Type baseplates are prepared for attachment of hand grips (optional) to bring the patients shoulders as much as possible out of the treatment area.

The Macromedics HeadTilt tilting baseplates can be quickly clicked onto head & neck baseplates and offer angulation of up to 25° or 35° in 5 or 7 steps.

Tilting baseplates avoid overstretch of masks as sometimes seen with wedges or blocks. This results in a less overstretched and more stable mask that benefits repositioning.

The IOS Contour Series U-Frame Baseplate is your low attenuation option for whole brain, Cyberknife, and other intracranial treatment setups. The baseplate accepts standard S-Type headrests, European Posi-style headrests, or TIMO-style headrests (via adapter).
